The World Endurance championship hit a new milestone at the 6 Hours of Spa.
At the end of an eventful 6 hours at the Spa-Francorchamps circuit, Jota crossed the line first to take its first WEC victory and in the process it also became the first privateer to win the Hypercar class.
It was a huge milestone for the championship, especially since it’s been achieved just a few years into the existence of the current hypercar regulations, and it showcases just how even the playing field really is in the World Endurance championship right now.
