Goodyear will supply the LMP2 and LMGT3 classes of the European Le Mans Series until 2029
Goodyear has extended its exclusive tyre supply contract with the European Le Mans Series for a further three years in both the LMP2 and LMGT3 classes.
Goodyear has supplied the LMGT3 class since its inception in 2024, and has had an exclusive arrangement with LMP2 machines since 2021, and those deals will now continue until the 2029 ELMS season.
The announcement coincides with the confirmation at Le Mans that Goodyear had extended its tyre supplier deal with the LMGT3 class for the same period.
Speaking about the announcement, Goodyear Racing Vice President, Xavier Fraipont said: “Extending our partnership with the ACO and the European Le Mans Series through 2029 is a strong statement of our long-term commitment to endurance racing.”
“LMP2 and LMGT3 classes are two pillars of the sport, and we are proud to continue supporting both with tire technologies that deliver consistency, performance and increasing levels of sustainability.
"Our latest developments- from record-level stint performance in LMP2 to the introduction of higher sustainable material content in LMGT3 - demonstrate how we continue to push the boundaries on track, while shaping the future of mobility.”
