Two Hypercars to contest2026/27 Asian Le Mans Series
The championship has 47 entries for this year's season
The new Hypercar class of the Asian Le Mans Series will feature just two cars in the 2026/2027 season, in a field comprising of a record 47 cars.
In addition to six four-hour races across Europe, the series will now field a record grid size, enough to fill the capacity of circuits like Paul Ricard, Jerez and the Algarve.
But the new Hypercar class has attracted only two Ferrari 499Ps, despite there being plenty of speculation about several possible entries comprising of a variety of different cars in recent months.
One of the Ferraris will be fielded by 2025/26 ALMS LMP2 runner-up Cetilar Racing and will be driven by Le Mans winner Antonio Fuoco as well as the father-and-son duo of Robert and Nicola Lacorte.
